Oh Diamond and Carlton... fans could sense that a conflict was brewing even in the pods as Scorpio Carlton admitted in his confessional that he had not told Diamond he was bisexual. It’s already difficult for Carlton to open up and be fully vulnerable with a new person, but his desire to be deeply loved by his partner won over him disclosing that information. Sagittarius Diamond reacted extremely badly when he finally did tell her during their “honeymoon,” as she felt jilted not by the information itself but that he had kept it from her (it’s the principle of the thing!) Carlton took her reaction as homophobic and ignorant and, feeling threatened after being open and vulnerable, lashed out. The two had an epic and very uncomfortable falling out that fans of the show will remember for many seasons to come.
